"The dung beetle effect": Taking law to the people in Southern and Eastern Africa, with an emphasis on Zimbabwe Mariri, Cecilie Butenschon This paper presents the Southern and Eastern African Regional Centre for Women's Law, at the University of Zimbabwe, which is running a masters degree programme in Women's Law. The paper touches into contents and methodologies of the course, the role of the library, north-south cooperation, and plans for the future. The future of SEARCWL depends of course very much on the developments in Zimbabwe, so a short description of everyday's challenges and lack of infrastructure is also given.
